After all these years I have been owning a Desktop.. in fact I like it quite alot. However, for whatever reason this 1 year it really failed on me many times. Also when I am travelling to my in-law's place, at times I find myself no PC to use after work :( Now with the recent Singnet re-contract, my hubby got me a laptop. :) Yeah!
we collected on Sat and he had been configuring, backing up OS as well as installing my application. So here I am now typing the very first time on this laptop. Before my laptop arrived, my bro also got me a laptop bag. Not bad right? Now I am like spolit for choices. :)

Here the pictures of my MarioBrothers. My favourite game since young and now my hubby really spolit me and got me the Wii game. Think we also purchased about $150 for the accessories. Still planning to get the external HDD. Yet to buy.

Last Sat set up a fish tank for my son. We brought those $1 per pack of swordtail. Since last night only 3 fishes left, 7 died. Can you guess what happened last night. After pouring away about 2/3 of the water, I spotted some small fishes (baby fry) swimming in the container. Hence I decided to keep one of the surving and pregnant fish into the small container. This morning before work I spotted small fishes swimming in the container. Afraid the mummy would eat its young I shifted the big back. Tonight I changed the tank again to a bigger one I got from my parents' place.

1st heard this sone while watching the show "Four Wedding and a Funeral" during my U 1st year holiday with WW.

This song was my JC fren's favourite. He was then a fan of Vivian Chow. Not sure what type of 流言 is there around him then. Wah..more than 10 years+ already.

Wonder why at times guys do not really know what their gf or their spouse wants. Sad.. a simple 3 words or a hug at times mean alot to gals. ahahha

In life many times it is quite a choice between a line of sentence, chances would just slip by as time passes by.

At times we are lost as we are not sure if LOVE ever exist.

Finally got hold of my Wii Console Set, of course with some damages done to the pcokets. But who cares, I work, I earn and I spent. (However, I signed card - Play 1st, pay next month). But some eldery at home does not seem to be agreed with my acts I suppose hence ended up my son got some comments from one of them stating "What so nice to PLAY and PLAY too long." Ended up he is so sad and packed the stuffs. Too much right? Now his school is almost over cannot play? What kind of logic is that. Anyway I cannot stand my son being deprive of playing, so I am going to HOOK on to the TV and PLAY my game tonight with my son. Let's see if anyone comments me. Hehe I do not really understand why we want to deprive children of PLAYING, they do learn through PLAY what, at least that's what those experts out there who research and claims to so.

Actually at the game store, I am also tempted to grab XBOX too as it is on offer. Think if I am to bring back 2 different games sets home, I wonder who would got a earful - my hubby, my son or me? Anyway, another commented that I overheard was "Thought they have a game set at home?". Hello, it is totally different ok - PS2, as some gamers out there commented outdated toy which I agrees as I have it for about 8/9 years already. Upgrade ok course, else why so many people also upgrading in so many areas of their lives - housing, cars, living standard, Computers parts etc. Thinking process required.

Back to my new gadget, I love Mario Brothers game since young hence that why I am keen on Wii over XBOX. :P With the game set it comes with Wii Sports, very basic one. But at least now I do not need to go to the Tennis court to embarass myself and play under the HOT sun. Now I can play with virtual person at the comfort of my living hall. Quite good, it is also a form of exercise for me. My son is into bowling game, which he did far better than me in this. Not too bad, at least he did jump abit when he strike. hahah. Last but not the least, I told my hubby to get himself another set of controllers, so we all no need to share the 2 sets and can played together - Family bonding..hahaha.

it has been a long long time since I had Long John Silver breakfast. Think the last time i had it is on a SAT working day in the far far ulu place on the west side of the little red dot. Anyway, I had it today with my family... damage for LJS breakfast is $10.40.

After this we went off to do supermarket shopping for ingridents. Initially is to cook fishball noodles one for lunch, ended up with Poached Salmon since now it no longer sold in IKEA and we got the sauce from there as well the last time we are there. It stated for the meatballs, luckily it turn out not so lor..Cheeze sauce. This is the end-product we cooked just now:

Took a day leave to attend the meeting parent session instead. Initial plan is suppose to be just my hubby attending only ended up thinking since do not want to bother my mother-in-law to takecare of my son, so i decide to bring him out after the event. Guess what go con by my hubby as usual, MEETING again.. cannot wait for the our turn, need to go now.. Urgh... sorry to say I really HATE his work and altitude lor. After the meeting, we go to the canteen to source for tea-break, had a bun and a FunChoy. Checked with the Security guard how to get to the mrt station or habour front from the school. Hey, got a answer for direct bus no 61. Good meaning I can at least rest abit on the journery, but not as I am granted. Somehow alot of old people on the bus and started to cough quite badlly for 1 old man seating in front of us, therefore we changed our seats.

Reached Vivo City slightly before 12pm and we started to source for our lunch.

Seems that got quite a few resturants having lunch promo, but to cut cost we ended up in Kopitiam having his favourite - Pepper Lunch Express, Salmon one.

Next we proceed to take a train ride to Sentosa. Saw IR development progress and really made me think they can operate on time or not. :P

He really knows his way and bring me to HOT & COLD places lor. At the end of the excurison trip, I am down with slight headache. We proceeds to vivoCity to look for snacks and ended up a fried vegetable pie, a bowl of soy curd with soy milk and 2 cans of the potatoes chips which is on promo in GIANT @ 2 for $4.80.

To get to Jurong Point, we took NE line and as usual my son likes to be in the 1st cabin and he commented he never took NE line before. Hence ended up that we took a few more extra stations before U-turned back to the NE-EW line exchange station to head our way home to BoonLay. Finally at BonaVista we decide to take a nap and all the way until BoonLay Mrt station. We went JP to develop some photos @ 19 cents per pieces (4 Nov 09 is the last day of promo) and NTUC EXTRA as the request of my darling. Guess he is really energetic. We only decided to end our day at 5pm when hubby called to inform that my mother-in-law needs to go to my sis-in-law's place and we needs to be at home by 1730Hrs.

I had a very bad headache last night and trying hard to fall asleep despite of a tiring day. Now at least I have recovered, but still got slight block nose. Hope will self recover soon.

Recived this from an email.. and this is extracted from solveyourproblem.com

Staying motivated isn't always easy no matter what you are trying to accomplish. Whatever it is that you are trying to get motivated to do, there are a few tips that can help. You can stay motivated to accomplish almost any goal.

# 1 Visualize and imagine your goals
- When you have the ability to see your goals and imagine what the end result will be, you are more likely to stay motivated.
- You may feel more motivated by a picture of what you are working towards or need a daily visual reminder.
- By keeping a visual picture in your mind and imagining yourself at your end result, you can stay motivated to accomplish any goal.

# 2 Reward and treat yourself
- Staying motivated can be easier if you take the time to reward and treat yourself when you reach small milestones along the way.
- Knowing that there is something good along the way to your goal will help keep you excited about achieving your goal and you will stay motivated.

# 3 Set small goals and take a break
- Whether you are working towards saving money for a new house or trying to eat healthy to lose a few pounds, set small goals for yourself and take a break every once in awhile.
- By setting small goals, you will not feel too overwhelmed at one time.
- You can work on each step that will equal to big results in the end. Also, if you do get overwhelmed, take a break.
- Achieving your goals will not happen overnight. If you feel frustrated, take a day off and rethink your plans.

# 4 Prove them wrong and impress others
- Everyone is motivated for different reasons, but one way to stay motivated is to remember all the times someone told you that you couldn’t do it.
- Prove the negative people around you wrong and accomplish your goals to show them you can.
- While you should never try to live your life for the approval of others, your motivation may improve when you try to impress others.
- Feel good about what you can do, and others will notice the hard work.

# 5 Do it because it is fun and you want to do it
- You may want to achieve a goal that you find very difficult. It may help to stay motivated by finding something fun about what you are doing.
- When you find intrinsic motivation, it will be easier to focus on your goals.

# 6 Compare and critique
- When you compare your goals to others and find what worked or did not work for them, you can stay motivated because you will find what will help you.
- Look at others around you and see the mistakes they may have made and try to keep yourself in line by not making the same mistakes.

----------------------------------
Afternote comment: Take a step back and look at myself, frankly i find these are all theories in book. Think most people look at $$ factor as a form of motivation and reward at the end of the day, if not for $$ sake and livinghood do you think one would bother to get up early out of the cosy bed and struggle himself to report work at 830am and take to stay awake towards to the end of the day? If not for $$, working mum would rather have more time for family as well.. enjoy breakfast with children, send children to school and play with them in the afternoon.
However, for point 4 to prove to others, my thinking is why bother what ours think of you. You should be living for your ownself and not others. Likewise for point 6 , to compare with others, we can learnt from others, but not to compare as most time after comparison you might get even demoralised to work on the things. Example, at times when people comment why so-and-so can stay in such a big house, driving big car where I am still cramp in a little nest - ask yourself, today you have at least a little nest to stay whereas some do not even have.. So do you still want to compare? Just be content and happy with whatever you have achieve, stretch abit more to do abit more for yourself and family, but do not sour the family relationship or in expense of family time.

Finally got chance again to hold the lanterns for the mid-autum. :)
Last time before I had my son, I used to bring my little cousin to the Bishan Park to play, but they are more interested in the playground than the lanterns then.
Now all grown up liao. This year I got 3/4 free paper lanterns. :)

Have been very hardworking doing exercise..hahah
On one of my trip, i saw this bright green thing on the tree. Initially I thought it is a string, when closed up look..my gosh..it is actually a snake.
Happy taking some photo and when shown to parents & in-laws got some "scolding". As it is a very poisonious snake. So beware next time if you happen to come across it and not like me blur blur one. Thank god we are safe and sound.

Bloomed beautifully. :)

An artist's impression of the Universal Studios theme park at the Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) integrated resort (IR). Parts of the theme park will be based on two popular DreamWorks Animation films, Shrek and Madagascar.

An overview of the Universal Studios park in Singapore.

One of the Thrilling rides and sleek attractions - Duelling roller coasters: Standing at 42.5m, it is the tallest pair of its kind and the first to have two different types of coasters - one seated and the other suspended.

Guess I am bored while waiting for my PC to get repaired last night by the Mr Fix-It. So I started to do a beaded hair pin. It was really diffcult to handle and finally I made one "messy" looking one. Then started off to make a bracelet for myself while continue to wait. After I am done, my son also want to try making a bracelet for me... see his 1st attempt piece - Candy looking bracelet.

My dear darling woke up at 4:30am, cannot wait to go and support his daddy for the run. He was so cute that he needs to dress in RED top same as his dad.
We left around 6am, guess it is the 1st time we woke up so early without the needs to catch the flight. :P I am surprised that there are actually so many singaporean who are crazy about running, nearly missed the car parking lots with only 22 lots remain when we arrived.

After the starting, we walked around to booth and brought doughnuts for our breakfast. While we found a seat to settle down and listened to some songs via our itouch, the compare annouced that the 1st man is finishing the race. My goodness it is like only slightly beyond 30min run for him for the 10Km! Anyway, around 55mins we proceed to the finishing point to wait for my hubby. So far he only practise 2 times on the threadmill that's all and today is his 3rd time running 10km. Proud of him to finish the race with a timing of 1Hr07mins. It had been more than 10 years ago since he participate in this type of race. By this time alot of people have finished the race, most of them came back from 45 mins onwards.

Finally, got time to have a time to take a break to reflect what I have accomplished for the week. Guess mostly shopping stuffs I got via online and out in the shopping mall. Looking forward in getting my stuffs, of coz' I have yet to pay my fren who have paid on my behalf - Thanks Alvina.

This tue, I completed my 2nd exam in the 'stupid' law course, 1 more paper to go for that, but guess will be after my holiday trip. After thought is I am OLDer now, but does not really seems to be like what other people have said wiser. My memory is failing me I know as I could hardly remembered what I have study. Guess no more school for me, unlike a friend of mine who is now thinking of signing for courses for exam as he missed the thrill in it. Give me a break on that. Now leave it to the god to bless me that I can pass my paper.

The most rewarding thing I got out for this week is NAPPING in the afternoon.

Just managed to change my flight time for KL from evening to early morning at FOC. So happy, but then meaning I need to occur the taxi fare for the midnight charge :(

My new toy. Some might say it is a old model already, but who cares..as long as better than my current I would be more than happy. Easy to please huh?

FEATURES OVERVIEW

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ10 is a 10 megapixel ultracompact digital camera and the top-level offering in Panasonic's LZ series of budget-friendly pocket cams. Equipped with an optically stabilized 5x zoom that begins at a wide 30mm, the LZ10 also makes use of a large, bright, and crisp 2.5 inch LCD that takes up most of the rear of the camera.

Unlike most of the auto-exposure only cameras priced below $200, the LZ10 offers full shutter priority, aperture priority, and manual modes for photographers who want more control over their images. Of course, like most Panasonic cameras the LZ10 also comes with an "intelligent" fully automatic mode that actively evaluates scene conditions and selects settings. A nice range of scene modes and a well thought-out approach to using them (which allows for quick switching between two different scene presets) should also appeal to auto mode users looking for easy access to a little more control. In short, the LZ10 offers photographic control for people who want it yet remains a true point-and-shoot in most ways.

One other intelligent feature of note is Panasonic's Intelligent ISO setting: simply set the maximum allowable ISO value and the LZ10 selects an appropriate sensitivity within the specified range for a given scene or subject - just like the auto sensitivity "cap" settings found on many DSLRs. What makes Intelligent ISO different than regular Auto ISO is that it isn't based simply on exposure values - it's based on subject movement and camera movement. With Intelligent ISO mode enabled, if the LZ10 detects rapid subject movement or severe camera shake the ISO will be increased all the way up to ISO 1600 (or lower if you limit the maximum ISO in the menu) to capture a blur-free image.

A separate High Sensitivity mode increases maximum ISO all the way up to 6400, though given the relatively low 3 megapixel resolution at this setting, many users may find this feature less useful for prints.

The Lumix LZ10's basic shooting modes are as follows:

Intelligent Auto (iA): Panasonic's exclusive improvement on conventional auto modes claims to make, as the name suggests, more intelligent exposure choices based on more involved analysis. In practice, the mode tends to work well (and includes such niceties as backlight correction for evening out backlit scenes), serving up generally good images with a highly limited selection of user adjustments.
Program Mode (P): The LZ10's normal setting is a program auto mode, with adjustments for white balance, sensitivity, and the like available in the quick access and main menus.
Aperture Priority (A): The photographer selects the lens aperture and the camera selects the correct shutter speed (and ISO if the camera is set to Auto ISO or Intelligent ISO modes).
Shutter Priority (S): The photographer selects the shutter speed and the camera selects the correct lens aperture (and ISO if the camera is set to Auto ISO or Intelligent ISO modes).
Manual Mode (M): The photographer selects the proper shutter speed, lens aperture, and ISO for correct exposure.
Scene: The LZ10 brings two scene mode positions in its mode menu, allowing users to select one of 21 presets (including two "Baby" modes, the nuances of which aren't clear from the menu icons, and a dedicated preset for aerial shots) for each of the two positions. This makes cycling between two favorite scene presets a single button press away, and given that most users use only a few of the wide range of available presets on any compact camera, the idea makes a lot of sense.
Motion Picture: Though the camera takes rich, fluid video, movie mode options on the LZ10 are less than impressive, allowing a maximum resolution/frame-rate of 640x480 at 30 fps. If you're looking for HD or a camcorder replacement, this camera probably isn't the best option.
In terms of in-camera editing options, the LZ10 is one of the more impressive budget compact cameras we've seen. Beyond the basic cropping and resizing options form the bulk of the playback mode choices, this camera has adjustable parameters for sharpness, saturation, contrast, and noise reduction (+/- 2). This is something you just don't find on most budget compact cameras.

歌词吾爱
http://www.dj99.com/

Nice song with meaningful lyrics.

Yesterday, my family crazy... suddenly thought of going JB.
So 1/2 way driving we U-turn back home and collect our passport and take public transport there.
It is like almost 7-8 years ago that I last went to City Square at JB to shop.
Very blur and alot of those SOP of the past changes.
Now no need to cross the overhead bridge at Kranji mrt station to take the buses.. it is now right in front of the mrt station. But the jam to the Malaysia custom is bad.. it took us 2 hrs from home to reach Malaysia Custom. lol.
However, from the Malaysia Custom now there is a direct link to City Square via the overhead bridge. Rain or shine also does not matter. This is what we ordered for our lunch total at RM40.

There brought 2 tops. Rather cheap..at RM9.90 each only. Where to find in S'pore right?

We left around 4pm coz' we are tired of walking. Coming back home is a smooth journey.
